For the purposes of entry into this qualification a degree, advanced diploma or diploma from any jurisdiction (country of origin) is acceptable. Work experience at sufficient complexity will be assessed using a process similar to RPL.

Have demonstrated an IELTS level at score of least 6.0 or equivalent (test results must be no more than 2 years old) or demonstration of successful completion of at least General English at Advanced or English for Academic Purposes Advanced level.

Please Note: All the students commencing this course are required to complete the LLN test on the orientation day to assist Newton College to identify student’s needs for additional support during their study with the Newton College. If the student is opting ELICOS packaged with any vocational course, the student is required to demonstrate IELTS of 5.0 or equivalent.

Course Description:
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply advanced knowledge and skills in a range of strategic leadership and management roles.
Individuals at this level make high level autonomous decisions and use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions in varied contexts. They have full responsibility and accountability for personal outputs and for the work or function of others.
They use cognitive and creative skills to review, critically analyse, consolidate and synthesise knowledge, in order to generate ideas and provide solutions to complex problems. They use communication skills to demonstrate their understanding of theoretical concepts and to transfer knowledge and ideas to others.
Course Structure:
To complete the BSB80215 Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership, you need to pass eight units (consists of 2 core units and 6 electives) of competence. If you leave the program early, you will be given a Statement of Attainment for any units you have been assessed as competent in. We have selected the following units:

Newton College’s Graduate Diploma in Strategic Leadership (BSB80320) is made available to the students via face-to-face sessions held in fully equipped, contemporary classes. The training is a blend of theory and practical examinations, both conducted within the college premises. Each student who has enrolled for the course is expected to pass all the 8 units to conclude the training program.
